So… Why did we spend 22’ish hours in the car to come here to golf? This resort has 4 18-hole courses that all rank in the top 12 in the country of the courses you can actually play (aren’t a private club). It’s a bucket-list sort of place. Why in January?? Well, we already have the gear to deal with the cold, wind, and rain that we are expected to see from our Scotland trip in April, and the cost is MUCH lower in the off-season. $85 per round instead of $340 per round when the weather is nice.
Today we eased into the week by playing Bandon Reserve, a 13-hole par-3 course that some have ranked as the top public par-3 course in the country. It’s deserved! We had a blast, and great weather as well!
