Well, the outdoors program has come a long way since I was in school here 25 years ago. I founded the Outdoors Club and ran what was basically a small closet full of outdoor gear that students could rent. I had a couple of friends who were a part of the student association that got some money to buy climbing holds. The three of us spent a solid couple of days drilling holes into concrete side walls of the then PE building to put in a small scale rock climbing area.
After a recent remodel of the student center, there is a prime spot here with a mini climbing wall, some retail space, trip planning computers, and people manning the check-outs all day long! Swanky!
